Things to know about our Impound Auction

• Upcoming Auctions to bid on can be found at René Bates Auctioneers, Inc - Auction Calendar (renebates.com).
• Scroll to City of Payne Springs, Texas.  Pictures are included and mileage if battery will allow
• If you are wanting to view a Auction Lot before the Auction ends, you will need to schedule an appointment during Office hours Monday thru Friday, 8am-4pm.

Paid Auction Pickups

Your Auction bid just won you a Lot from our Police Impound Auction, and you would like to pick up your winning lot.

• When you have made your payment through Rene Bates and have received your "paid receipt", the City of Payne Springs will received the same "paid receipt".
• You will need to call and schedule an appointment to pick up your winning lot.  Pick ups can not be made for the same day of payment.  Pick ups can be retreived 24 hours after payment is made.  The reason for this is the Chief has to sign all legal documents linked to your winning lot.
• Pick up hours are Monday thru Friday, 9am-2pm.
• If you are unable to pick up your winning lot personally, you will need to have a "Authorization of Release form" (below) filled out and have ready when picking up with DL/ID of person picking up.  This information can also be emailed to cityclerk@paynespringstx.com to save some time in delaying your pick up with a copy of your (the buyer) DL/ID.

If you find that your documents has a mistake or you are having difficulties transferring over because of issues per the Registration Office.  Please feel free to contact City Hall (below) and explain the situation.  If you need your documents "replaced", you will need to bring ALL ORIGINAL documents you before any can be "replaced".  You will have to schedule an appointment due to the Chief will have to resign the new documents.
