Planning & Inspections

The City of Payne Springs' Planning & Inspection Department is responsible for the following:

• Enforcing building codes
• Enforcing zoning regulations
• Administering ordinances for permits and inspections
• Enforcing dwelling standards ordinances
• Scheduling and conducting building inspections
     

Our Building Codes and Inspections Department take on the responsibility within our community of the following:

• Enforcing building codes.
• Ensuring the health, safety and general welfare of our citizens.

Once you have submitted your plans with the City, they will then be submitted to our 3rd party plan review.  If there is any missing infomation you and the City will get an email with letter stating in detail of information needed to move forward.  If everything is good with the 3rd party plan review crew your will get an email from the City with the amount of your building permit.
